On this day eight years ago, I married my wonderful husband. It was definitely true in our case - When you know, you know. We had our first date on March 12, 2000. Second date on March 14. Third date on March 16. Talked on the phone for HOURS on the days in between. Since the 3/16/00 there hasn't been a single day we have been apart except for the occasional business trip or similar. And there hasn't been a single day since our first date that we haven't talked.
We said "I love you" for the first time (out loud anyway!) on March 25, 2000. Decided to get married about a week after that. "Officially" got engaged on June 25, 2000. Married on May 12, 2001.
And haven't looked back!
