Impossibly Easy Hamburger Pie

I tried this recipe recently after seeing it a number of times. It was good! I'm making it again this week, but I'm going to use ground breakfast sausage instead of ground beef.

1large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2teaspoon salt
